About the event
The River Severn is the longest river in Britain. For 220 miles she meanders through the tranquil lands of the Marches, nourishing all who call her waters home. But unknown to some, an ancient Goddess resides within its depths, transformed by the love and stories attached to her magnificence. Alongside her tales of tragedy and transformation, Sabrinas/ Hafrens river is a place of dragons, ghosts and magical salmons, all which we can learn from to understand the power of her waters. Join Brett Hollyhead/ Witch of Salopia to find out more about the Goddess including her history, the folk beliefs attached to her from the Iron age up to the present day, all while exploring the wonderful, timeless magic of rivers as the gateway to the otherworld.
