OUR LIBRARY

In 2022, we were able to rehome around 5000 books from the Museum of Myth and Fable. This important archive is now being built upon to create a comprehensive folklore library for the North of England. 
The library is reference only, homed in a welcoming and comfortable space, designed for reading and research.
We are also able to hold art exhibitions here, and have a variety of weird and wonderful folkloric exhibits on display.
Membership for the library is set at a minimal cost to make it accessible to all but also contribute to our overheads. You can also support the work of the Centre  through becoming a member, even if you are unable to visit in person. Please see Shop tab for membership or join when you visit.
