Pins, needles, and urine: the basic ingredients of a 17th-century witch-bottle. To what effect? On whose advice? And how different are 21st-century witch-bottles? Drawing on a two-year project with the Museum of London Archaeology department, Dr Ceri Houlbrook will propose some answers to these questions.
