About the event
Poppets are used in a form of sympathetic magic, representing the person who is a target of the magic being performed, whether in the form of a curse, or to help or heal. They appear throughout history and across many cultures in a variety of forms. Jenny will explore some of this wide and varied history, and then you'll be able to make your own poppet to take home- materials will be provided.
