About the event

John Billingsley: An Antiquarian Psychogeography... expressions of place in the past. Viewing place through traditional and modern eyes. Place and consciousness are in constant interaction, and long before the term psychogeography was invented, it can be traced in folk tales, placenames and other perceptions of certain locations – in the lore and material culture that reflects people’s cognitive maps of their environment.
