Otzi: Tales from the Ice.

This workshop explores the archaeology and stories from Otzi the Ica Man! In part 1 we will learn about Otzi's discovery, what archaeologists understand about his life, and his contested identity. Archaeologists have used many scientific methods to explore and interpret Otzi and his life by using his remains. As a result, we have an unusually clear picture of this ancient man's life and origins! 

In part 2 you will be invited to use this archaeological knowledge to tell a tale about Otzi. You will tell the story of Otzi's last day in his village- through storytelling, poetry, acting a scene or whatever medium inspires you most. This workshop explores how storytelling and interpretation can help bring the past to life!
